Mine environment evaluation in Anhui Province based on RS and GIS

Abstract In order to understand the extent of damage environment and scope impact mine development, using domestic high resolution satellite data, application remote sensing geographic information system technology, for comprehensive evaluation mining in Anhui Province, through analytic hierarchy process, quantitative analysis zoning study environmental conditions are carried out, 16 factors were determined, index model geological was established, set grade. Through research, Province is divided into four grades: seriously affected area, relatively generally area non-affected area. Field investigation verification out by mine. The results showed that use RS GIS technology carry assessment can more accurately reflect development on environment, provide reliable technical support scientific basis subsequent restoration management.
